Congratulations to our very own District Executive Chef Ryan Lister for competing in the finals of the Canadian Culinary Championship hosted by Canada’s Great Kitchen Party after winning the Toronto’s qualifying event!
It’s an incredible accomplishment to be among Canada’s top chefs, and we’re so proud of Chef Ryan for representing The Dorset with skill and passion.
The weekend featured several exciting challenges, including a Mystery Wine Challenge, where chefs were tasked with pairing a mystery wine with a creative dish, and a Black Box Challenge, where they had to use a set of mystery ingredients to create two unique dishes.
In the grand finale, Chef Ryan showcased his regional-winning dish: Wellington County Pork Belly, BC Spot Prawn, Mangalitsa Black Pudding, Ontario Pears, Celeriac, and Minus 8 Jus.
While he didn’t make it to the podium, his performance was a remarkable display of his talent, and we couldn’t be prouder of his dedication to the craft. We’re lucky to have such a talented chef leading The Dorset!
